At the time of installing Linux or other operating systems usually you will be asked the name of your computer. Sometimes we just fill out as they pleased. After installation is complete you may think that the name you provide does not fit or less attractive, so you want to replace it.
How do I change? I'm using Ubuntu or its derivatives distro, and I also never think to rename my computer. I have to do is to reinstall my Linux. This is action enough "stupid". But it does not matter to someone beginners. The easiest way is to edit the Hosts file that located in the / etc.
You can use command: gedit /etc/hostname
for detail see here.
